The Handi-Guide provides regulatory detail and interpretive information with respect to Part 3 (Occupational Health and Safety) of the B.C. Workers Compensation Act and the B.C. OHS Regulation, which is in force under authority of the act.

The March 2009 Fourth Edition includes a current version of the OHS Regulation and Part 3 of the act, reflecting all amendments up to and including January 1, 2009. It includes amendments that became effective in May 2008 and in January 2009. The May 2008 amendments were primarily to Part 26 (Forestry Operations and Similar Activities) and the January 2009 amendments were mainly to Parts 17 (Transportation of Workers), 20 (Construction, Excavation and Demolition) and 32 (Oil and Gas).
