| Peace of mind boating Federal Publications is pleased to offer membership to Boater Assist Canada™. You've heard of road assistance for your car; now you can join Boater Assist and enjoy peace of mind knowing on-the-water help for you and your boat is only a 1-800 call away! Boater Assist Canada™ is a member-based organization for the recreational boater in Ontario. Owned and operated by Boating Ontario with service centres in major boating areas throughout the province, their highly trained staff are ready to provide the highest quality basic rescue service to boaters.  What Membership provides: Boater Assist Canada service providers are standing by seven days a week, from May 15th to October 31st, to help you when the unexpected happens. Membership provides you with on-water services for assistance with:
Service Coverage: Membership is a great idea for just about every vessel on the water whether it be a personal water craft, aluminum fishing boat or dinghy, right up to a cruiser, sailboat or yacht. The Boater Assist Canada call centre has been designed to dispatch highly trained service providers that will deliver effective basic rescue assistance when you need it most. Coverage is for the major navigable waters in Ontario (interactive points on the map below are for general reference only). Extra Benefits: Boater Assist Canada has partnered with a variety of corporate and promotional partners to give members additional savings and benefits. Current partners include CAA, RBC Royal Bank, Discount Car Rental, Sony, Salus Marine Wear, and Best Western Hotels. Plus, members are eligible for a discount if they choose to purchase boat insurance through Boater Assist Canada's Insurance Program (brokerage services provided by HUB International). Types of Membership: 
$75.00 + tax for the Basic 12-month membership
which starts from the day you activate your membership. Basic Membership
covers one registered boat and single operator. Plan allows for up to two
emergency service calls/tows per year. Service coverage for the major navigable
waters in Ontario only.$125.00 + tax for the Family 12-month membership which starts from the day you activate your membership. Family Membership covers up to two registered boats and six operators who regularly use your boats. Plan allows for up to three emergency service calls/tows per year. Service coverage for the major navigable waters in Ontario only. How to purchase: Simply click on one of the Add to Cart buttons above. You will require this membership number in order to activate your subscription, either by visiting the Boater Assist Canada website (www.boaterassist.com), or by calling them at 1-888-579-2628.
